Travelers Rest

 

Is one of the fastest-growing segments of Greenville County with a current population of nearly 8000 full-time residents. “TR” is home to active/golf communities such as Green Valley and The Cliffs which offer wellness centers, tennis, pickle ball, and swimming among other activities. Travelers Rest serves as a “gateway to eastern North Carolina” with Asheville, Brevard, Cashiers, and Hendersonville all located a short distance away.

 

Travelers Rest’s growing popularity is due, in part, to its proximity and access to the Swamp Rabbit Trail, a walking and biking trail that meanders through Greenville County and ends in TR. A quaint downtown has sprung up there offering craft brew, a top-shelf coffee roaster, outdoor adventure goods, and artisan restaurants, with a decidedly “outdoorsy.
